The PrimaDonna Elite range of fully automatic coffee machines offers a wide variety of coffee settings and is the first fully automatic machine from De’Longhi to dispense the coffee first, followed by the milk; for the perfect barista-quality coffee at home. De’Longhi challenged us to communicate the barista-quality message and machine’s versatility and create cut through in a crowded market place.
We decided to put the barista-quality claim to the test by pitting the PrimaDonna Elite against a barista in a popular Sydney coffee shop. Patrons were invited to taste two cups of coffee - one made by the barista, one by the PrimaDonna Elite - and choose their favourite. We filmed the results.
The taste test video was released across De’Longhi’s social and online channels, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
In just two months the video received 4.14m impressions across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, 889,000 video views and delivered 1,890 click throughs to delonghi.com/en-au.
